Classes are the reason you’re in college. Doing homework, reading, studying and going to class should definitely be your focus while you’re in school. But students actually do better in their classes when they’re involved in campus life. Part of the reason for this is stress relief. You can only do so much homework, and campus life is the best place to make new friends! We all know nothing relieves stress quite like a good friend!
On average, college students only spend 10% of their time in the classroom. When you’re looking for colleges to attend, definitely make sure they’ve got something going on when their students aren’t in class.
